OFFICERS OF THE YDM EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Timothy R. McBride
Co-Founder and President
Tim is a native of Wilmington and is a senior and Communication Arts Major at Cab Calloway School of the Arts. He is currently President of the High School Student Council and Co-President and Founder of the Young Democrats Movement. Tim has worked on several political campaigns including Matt Denn for Insurance Commissioner, Biden for Attorney General and Jack Markell for Governor. Tim also served as Communications Director for Ezra Temko's campaign for Newark City Council. In May of 2008, Tim joined the Markell for Governor staff as a Field Organizer.

Helen H. Boyer
Co-Founder and President Emeritus
Helen Boyer is a lifelong resident of Newark, DE. She is a high school senior at Cab Calloway School of the Arts in Wilmington where she is a Vocal Music major. She is the founder and president of her school’s chapter of Amnesty International, and together with Tim McBride, she founded the Young Democrats Movement. Since 2003, Helen has worked on several Delaware campaigns including those of State Treasurer Jack Markell and NCCo Executive Chris Coons. Apart from politics, Helen loves musicals, singing, and traveling. Helen served as Volunteer Coordinator for Ezra Temko's campaign in 2007 and on the staff of Markell for Governor as a Newark Field Organizer.

Matthew R. Marshall
Ranking Executive Committee Member
Mat Marshall is currently a senior at Cab Calloway School of the Arts, and is the secretary of his student council. Mat has been active in politics for years, starting as a peace activist, going on to volunteer for several candidates, including Ezra Temko, Dennis Spivack, Barack Obama and Jack Markell, and eventually becoming the communications director for Karen Hartley-Nagle's congressional campaign in the summer of 2008. Today, Mat works for Jack Markell, and volunteers extensively for Dr. Mike Katz's campaign for State Senate. Mat has won awards for his journalistic and artistic efforts, and has been nominated by his school to attend the United States Senate Youth Program, an honor received by YDM co-president Tim McBride last March.
